It has been my dream to own a VW Type 2 or known as VW transporter or Kombi. As long as i can remember. but since working, i forget to pursue this dream of mine. kind off. all the dream of owning a kombi came rushing back to me when some my colleagues from work started talking what they gonna do with the bonus. some of them thinking buying a new car, a motorbike, paying of credit cards, getting married and so much more. me? i had no clue. i was thinking to find something which i can do with my free time.
So it all started when i accompany Botak to pick up his motorbike which he bought recently. while he was talking to the tauke, i was amazed with a scooter which the tauke kept on the second floor of his shop. i was a lambretta. worn out, rusted lambretta. well it will be a good hobby. something to do with my free time. so i asked the tauke whether he want to sell the scooter. he said yes and asking for a freaking RM 10,000. Non-negotiable. crap... thats too expensive. frustrated. decided at that point, i want to look for the next best thing, vespa.
The next day, in the office i was talking to Syuhaimi about me looking for a vespa then he remember about a man he met few month back. the man was selling a VW Kombi. for RM 7000, well restored. then i remember of my dream. so i asked Syuhaimi why he did not buy the Kombi said he had no money that time and this time he was getting ready to settle down. i aske him to contact the man to buy the kombi on behalf of me. But the Kombi was taken by amoi from Penang. damn.
Well i started looking from forums on the net. I found one. the stories will be told on my next post.
